Testimonials

“I can’t say enough about this system of reaching and discovering for the first time your own inner truths and discovering, truly what a wondrous being you truly are. Your whole world will change before your eyes. So don’t hesitate, GO for it. What you will get will be the real you, and you will love it."

Rudi Colme - Artist/Designer, Hypnotherapist, Holland Centre, Ontario

“To discover the truth of ourselves and of existence, we must necessarily move beyond the numerous and ingenious devices we employ to avoid its raw reality.  For some people, the search for that truth is the only really meaningful activity of life.  I would recommend the practice to anyone who falls into that category.”

—Sandy Feigehen, PhD Psychologist,
Sudbury, Ontario

“I have taken half dozen True Awakening retreats, which, for me, could well be described as years of therapy. Once you have a "direct experience" of who you are (or of anything else), you never forget it - it stays with you like a reassuring comfort blanket that lets you walk in the world with trust."

—Frances Raymond,
Toronto, Ontario

“I had this feeling in my chest - my chest was very big and spacious and wide and open. Everyone and everything was beautiful. It was a wonderful feeling, and I felt so me, like I was residing in my own groove, that I was home, and that everything was just as it was supposed to be, comfortable, warm, safe”

—Beth Clark,Yoga/Meditation Instructor,
Kingston, Ontario

Strawbale

Discover the Ecological Benefits of Strawbale Construction and Learn About Eco-Building, Green Building and Sustainable Natural Building

straw-wall-150With increasing concern about reducing our energy consumption and our ecological footprint and growing interest in sustainable living, Strawbale homes are seen as the natural alternative to mass-produced big box homes.

Homes and buildings that are built with straw-bale walls in combination with conventional building methods have proven to be very strong, durable, extremely economical to heat (with a high R-value), cool in the summer, acoustically quiet, aesthetically appealing, ecologically friendly and easy to construct!

In this 2 1/2 day "Hands-on" workshop you will learn all the theory, techniques and skills that will enable you to plan and build Straw-Bale buildings. The workshop leader will lead you through a step-by-step instruction on how to build a home from the slab to the roof and you will actually construct a small Straw-Bale structure on the workshop site.

Through an integrated blend of audio-visual aids, architectural drawings, pictures, lectures, question and answer periods, demonstrations, hands-on experience, lots of fun and a visit to an actual Straw bale home you will leave the workshop with enough thorough knowledge and experience to build your own Strawbale structure!
