The Fundamentals of Permaculture - A Self-Reliance Eco-Workshop
Learn About Permaculture, Sustainable Living, Landscape Design, Edible Landscaping, Self-Sufficiency, Organic Gardening, Urban Gardening, Forest Gardening and More.
Are you concerned about the declining nutritional values in your food and the environmental costs of transporting it from afar?
Would you like to grow your own delicious and healthy food and live more self-sufficiently in your own backyard? The Permaculture system can help you achieve these goals.
What is Permaculture?
It is a method of reproducing, on your city or country property, the harmony, diversity, stability and resilience found in the natural world and working with nature, rather than against it to live more self-reliantly off your land.
The Fundamentals of Permaculture Design course is an 8 day, 42 hour practical training in permaculture design principles and techniques empowering participants to create sustainable and ecological environments that can provide self-reliance in: food, shelter, energy, fulfilling employment and supportive community.
This Eco-Workshop provides a basic grounding in Permaculture as a whole systems approach to ecological living so that participants are inspired to apply these skills on their own properties and within their own communities.
This training will be useful for people with varying levels of experience - from backyard gardeners to design professionals. Previous experience is not necessary.
There will be a balance between classroom time, hands-on experiential learning and personal empowerment work.
Included in the workshop is a comprehensive course manual.
